Lake of Fire

Lake of Fire is a psychological art-house horror short that tells the story of a cult member (Dara) and cult leader (Charles) and how the power dynamic between the two of them shifts after Dara realises Charles is a false prophet.
In a dream she sees a black horned figure symbolising an impeding evil coming towards her, she realises the evil she sees in her dream is Charles. By way of coping with this revelation she undergoes a transformation, covering herself in black paint much like the beast she saw in her dreams – becoming the evil she saw in Charles. Doing this leads her to believe she is more powerful than Charles, leading her to end his life and fully embrace the beast she has become.
